The below builds contains the main project of “iBLOPPER” and “iBLOPER/s” which focus the use of bubble (C02 release) detection till foresee fermentation, e.g. SG.

Secondly, the side project of “SBL4TILT” + “iBLOPPER/t” focus the relaying of TILT data + the BPM till the Cloud.

Notice! SBL4TILT + iBLOPPER/s use sound sensor detection where iBLOPPER + iBLOPPER/t use vibration detection by MPU6050.

Based on NodeMCU AMICA with MPU6050 as sensor detection vibration as CO2 is released.

  • Support temperature probe.
  • Can be used on any airlock.

It monitor your yeast activity by motioning the CO2 blops pr. minute (BPM). Besides BPM, also “Sum BPM/L” and temperature is logged. Based on Sum BPM/L indicative gravity estimate is given by polynomial/modelistic approach.

Based on Wemos D1 MINI with MPU6050 as sensor detection vibration as CO2 is released.

  • Can only be used on S-airlock.
  • DO NOT AS SUCH NEEDS ANY SOLDERING AND HENCE VERY EASY TO BUILD.

Functions as a TILT relaying device and relays the SG and temperature together with BPM from vibration detection further on till Ubidots STEAM or Brewfather.

The “Sum BPM/L” can be used to make a second check of SG if an hydrometer sample is taken during high kreuzen based on polynomial/modelistic approach.

Sound Bubble Logger SPINDEL + CONNECT (Hibernation)

Based on BLE 33 sense for the SPINDEL part and ESP 32 DevKit v1 for the connect part. Can be used by S-airlocks.

The “Bubble-Logger SPIEDEL” is an Arduino based floating hydrometer there monitor your fermentation. It use sound to detect yeast activity as a relative number though motioning the sound blops pr. minute (BPM) coming from the s-airlock. Furthermore it monitor temperature and angle turning the later into gravity. To do this it use a NANO 33 BLE Sense CPU.

Though Bluetooth connection till an ESP 32 called “Bubble Logger CONNECT” the data is display into Ubidots, Brewersfriend or Brewfather. Last, and unique, it can also control a heating-argent and cooler based on the temperature reading every 4th min. Hence, this project (build) consist of 2 Arduino devices, e.g. a floating hydrometer called “Bubble Logger SPINDEL” and a connection/controller device called “Bubble Logger CONNECT”.
